There are two types of ball bulbs, white type and clear type. The white type has silica coating inside the spherical glass bulb and produces soft light from a whole glass bulb. The clear type has a clear glass bulb and produces bright hard light.
They are suitable for mood lighting in homes, stores, and hotels.
They are bulbs which achieved a bright compact shape and energy saving by filling the krypton gas which has low thermal conductivity.
They can be used widely for downlights, spotlights, or stands.
They are bulbs which cut blue light (500 nm or less) that insects like.
They are effective in reducing flying insects by using them for lighting in animal houses or poultry houses.
Light of a yellow hinge is cut by coloring the glass bulb solar blue.
They are suitable for inner light of refrigerators because the light becomes white with a tingle of blue.
They are widely used for inner light of microwaves.
The faston type is easy to install in a narrow space because a terminal and a bracket are attached to the bulb.
There are also a pin type and heat resistant bulbs which are used in the high temperature place.
In place of the conventional screw type, they are lamps which have a terminal system for the connecting part with the lead wire by incorporating a lamp and a socket.
They have a good insulation because the attaching area is made with resin and provide one-touch installation using a hole of the holder.
They are used for information boards or signs of roads or stadiums.
Viewability and electric power saving are achieved by installing a lens to a glass bulb. They are energy saving type comparing to the conventional products.
They are relatively strong to use in places with a lot of vibration or impact, such as factories or workplaces, and suitable for local lighting in factories or temporary light because they are designed considering the voltage fluctuation.
