This is a heater by processing a fibrous thin plate of the carbon purity 99.8% to carbon filament by the specialized technique and filling it into the quartz glass tube with inert gas such as argon gas.
This is the very new heat source, exceeding the conventional carbon heaters.

(1) Fiber material
Since fibers are used for the material, this heater has more elastic force than a sintered type, is resistant to bending strength and beside, and is small and light.
(2) Highly-pure carbon
The resistance value of the filament is stable for a long time by the highly-pure carbon and power consumption change is small.
(3) Size, power consumption and temperature distribution is flexible
Since the adjustment of the resistance value is possible by the method of making a slit to the carbon thin plate, flexibility of the size and power consumption expand and the temperature distribution of the heating element can be set freely.

This reaches to the full-power about 5 to 10 seconds after turning on the power and gets cool in a short time after turning off the power.
Since the preheating is not necessary, standby time is reduced remarkably and the temperature control is possible by fine ON/OFF operation with a quick response.
(9) Double pipe processing also possible
The [double pipe structure] by inserting a pure carbon heater into a thicker quartz tube and fixing with ceramic glass prevents from surface temperature decreasing and the deterioration caused by the devitrification.
(10) Strong bending strength
The heating element (filament) is strong to bend and flexible because the wave density of the carbon fiber is large (high-density) and attempting a thin panel (t = 0.3 mm).
Therefore, flexibility of the shape is high and commercialization is possible such as the straight type/round type, the U-shape type, and the horseshoe type.
(11) High heat radiation efficiency
Since the heat element (filament) is straight angle thin type and the heating area is large and even and the heat radiation characteristics is stable, increasing the heating efficiency can be achieved.
(12) Lighting direction is flexible
Even during lighting, the hardness of the heating element (filament) does not change, the lighting direction can be freely attached to vertical, horizontal, or diagonal.

The radiation wavelength of the pure carbon heater radiates a lot 2.5 to 3.5 μm that is the absorption wavelength of water or human skin (wavelength felt warmest).
Reduces the cost by the stable inrush current!

Since Pure carbon heater has a high cool resistance value and the value decreases in inverse proportion to the temperature, the inrush current does not occur when turning on the power. (About 60% of the rated current)Therefore, the protection circuit for the inrush current or surge measurements are not necessary and cost of equipments can be reduced.
